Choosing the perfect fabric for your custom window treatments can be a daunting task!! There are so many textures, patterns and colors to choose from. You should begin by determining what kind of role your window treatments are going to play in your home. A bedroom needs privacy and light control, so a heavier weight fabric combined with a blackout lining is a good choice for drapes or Roman shades for the bedroom. Coordinating your window treatment fabrics with the furniture in your living room will give your home a unique and elegant appearance. The size and scale of any room needs to be considered when choosing the fabric pattern. Large patterns look great in a big room with high ceilings but can be overpowering in a small room.
